12 Principles of Animation

Okay, so, in the process of learning animation, at some point or other even if you are self-taught you will keep hearing about the 12 principles of animation and you can only ignore them for so long. So, what are they, and do I really need to know them? I suppose the answer is that you should at least be aware of them. And, to make life easy, AlanBeckerTutorials on YouTube has made 12 short videos, each no longer than 3 minutes) explaining these 12 principles. So, as much for me as anyone else, I have listed his 12 short videos below. Once mastered, or for an overview, the 13th video is all the 12 principles rolled into one.
